Let GOD arise,
Let His enemies be
scattered;
Let all who hate Him
flee before His Holy Face.

This was the response I posted to Bishop Robert
Lynch blog “For His Friends Thoughts andReflections” which by the way is still on moderation I am sure it will
never get off that status.
With
all due respect to the office you hold, I feel I must respond with some
Spiritual Works of Mercy, due to the subject matter of your blog “ORLANDO,
ORLANDO WE LOVE YOU.”
"Our
founding parents" would you be referring to Adam and Eve? No, you are talking about the men who wrote
our Constitution. Those men are called Founding Fathers, not parents. As for
the Constitution the one that has been stomped on and drug through the mud by
this administration, the one you more than likely voted for, who voted NO to
keep God out their Democrat platform, the ones who abort the pre-born as a
right and you worry about assault weapons? What can be the definition of an assault
weapon? Could it be a knife? A hammer? A fist? Or maybe a vacuum/suction or
what they call MVAs? What about a word, can a word be an assault weapon? A
weapon of any kind can be if used by
a lunatic an “Assault Weapon”. Abortion alone, just in one day in the United
States are 4,000+ not 49.
As
for your statement one truly being pro-life and to work for the elimination of
the sales of these guns. You are talking about the “Seamless Garment”
here, there is a big difference in the killing of an innocent and the senseless
murder of an adult.
Sin
is sin to God, it excommunicates us from God's love so ALL SIN is bad but to
say that a baby being ripped out of their mother’s womb, where they should be
safe from harm, to people who by their free will have chosen to live a sinful
life are polar opposites. We should want them all back in the grace of God,
that is why we do not condone ANY sinful behavior and that is called true
Charity Bishop. We need to love God more than we love the human person and we
need to love them enough to help them out of their sins so they can attain the
Beatific Vision for which each and every one of us has been made. This act
charity is more than love, this is what Jesus talks about, He never left people
in their sin, He told them to “Go and sin no more” that is Charity, the
greatest love there is.
My
dear Bishop, there is more killing going on than 49. How about those who are
misled by the very people that are supposed to be leading the flock? The
killing of a soul is much worse than death of the flesh. Where are you leading
the flock? Could you be leading them straight to hell by your lack of Charity?
Are you a person who “loves company” per say, is that why you seem to be
defending those living in mortal sin or at the very least living a scandalous lifestyle:
fornication, sodomy and or drunkenness or the like.
We
know right from wrong, because it was written in our hearts. This is why people
hide their behavior. And as for
judgment, we are permitted to judge actions it says so in the Bible many times
in: Luke 12:56-57; John 7:24; Acts 4:19; I Corinthians 2:15; I Corinthians 5:3;
I Corinthians 6:2-5; I Corinthians 10:15; I Corinthians 14:29; Hebrews 5:14.
Douay-Rheims Bible.
As
for our Second Amendment right, we as a people have the right given to us by
God to defend ourselves, it doesn’t say which kind of weapon just that we are
able to do so.
Didn't
Peter bring a sword actually two swords to the night on the Mount of Olives?
And actually what did our Doctors and Fathers of the Church say about defending
ourselves? CCC
#2263, 2264, 2265, 2266, 2267. The Church says this: Matthew 26:52 For
all that take the sword, shall perish by the sword. This
statement by Jesus isn’t what you think it means. The Church interprets it this
way: This was not to condemn the use of
the sword,
when employed on a just cause, or by lawful authority. Euthymius looks upon it
as a prophecy that the Jews should perish by the sword of the Romans. (Witham)
--- Our divine Saviour would not permit this apostle to continue in his pious
zeal for the safety of his Master. He says to him: put up thy sword. For he
could not be unwilling to die for the redemption of man, who chose to be born
for that end alone. Now, therefore, he gives power to his implacable enemies to
treat him in the most cruel manner, not willing that the triumph of the cross
should be in the least deferred; the dominion of the devil and man's captivity
in the least prolonged. (St. Leo) That is what the Church says.
Bishop
Lynch, God has not given you the right to take His rights from us. You are
supposed to be a teacher not a dictator, as Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini,
Joseph Stalin and Pol Pot, by taking our guns from us or inciting the
government to do so. You Bishop are showing your true colors with this post.
Even Jesus Himself said "Do you think I cannot appeal to my Father who
will promptly send more than twelve Legions of Angels to my defense" what
do you think HE meant by that? Don't answer that question, go the AUTHORITY of
the Church, as we should always do. When you give your opinion you are no better than a Protestant/heretic that is
why there is more than 40,000+ Protestant denominations because they try to
interpret the Bible which only the Catholic Church has that Authority given to
them by God, the Church Jesus Christ started and the one that you are
condemning in your post.
And
Last by not least. How dare you compare the Church of
Jesus Christ, the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church to heretical so
called religions. They do not believe in our Creed, the Creed that you recite
at every Mass. They do not believe that the
Holy Eucharist is the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ Word made
Flesh who dwelt among us to give us a chance of eternal life to be with the
Blessed Trinity forever. As Our Lord Jesus Christ said at Capharnaum John 6:35 I am the bread of life: *he that cometh to
me, shall not hunger: and he that believeth in me, shall never thirst.48 I am
the bread of life.49 *Your fathers did eat manna in the desert, and they
died.50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven: that if any one eat of
it, he may not die.51 I am the living bread, which came down from heaven.52 If
any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread which I will
give, is my flesh for the life of the world.53 The Jews, therefore, disputed
among themselves, saying: How can this man give us his flesh to eat? John
6:54 Then Jesus said to them: Amen, amen,
I say to you: Unless you eat the flesh
of the Son of man, and drink his blood, you shall not have life in you.
So
you comparing Our Church and Faith to others, is heresy which makes
what you are saying here worse than any assault weapon any human can use. By
your words you can kill a soul a soul that has been entrusted to you on the day
of your ordination to the Priesthood by preaching error/heresy.
Please
find some humility and stop this madness, it is not only souls of the people
that have been entrusted to you that are at risk, it is your own!
“The Protestants, Communists, and
Socialists know that their greatest enemies, the ones most likely to thwart
their designs, are the Catholic priests. Since their errors are from the prince
of darkness, it suffices for priests to present to the people the light of the
Catholic doctrine in order to dissipate all the darkness caused by their
erroneous tenets. Their most subtle and strategic move, therefore, has been to
spread evil of the priests of the Church”—St. Anthony Mary Claret,
Autobiography, pt. 4, ch. 4.
“All the evils of the world are due to
lukewarm Catholics”
~Pope St. Pius V
An official of the French Army asked
St. Bernadette once whether she feared an invasion of the Prussians. She
responded, “I only fear bad Catholics.” He responded, “Don’t you fear anything
else?” She said—“No, nothing.”
