WORDS OF COMFORT IN THESE TRYING TIMES

Let God arise, and let His enemies be scattered
and let them that hate Him
Flee from before His Face.
~Psalm 67

John 16:31-33 Jesus answered them: Do you now believe?
*Behold the hour cometh, and is now come, that you shall be dispersed, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. These things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you shall have distress: but have confidence, I have overcome the world.

"Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?"
Luke 12:6

How much more does God love us than a bird? He gives us so many chances to come to Him through the priest to say we are sorry for the things that have offended Him in the gift of the sacrament of Confession this helps to humble us because humans are prone to pride as our first parents, Adam and Eve. Pride was the reason for their fall from grace, they wanted the knowledge that God possessed. It was also the reason that God's favorite angel fell, Lucifer was the favored but he wanted to be GOD with that choice he was cast out of heaven along with those angels who "would not serve."

HE is an amazing God. I pray that during this time you will grow in knowledge of Him. Since many of you have time now, would you watch this video ? Please take the time to watch. https://padreperegrino.org/?s=How+to+attend+Mass

DO NOT FALL INTO DISPAIR, HOPE IN GOD

Let God arise, and let His enemies be scattered
and let them that hate Him
Flee from before His Face.
~Psalm 67

Given the times we are living in, which I warned about 10 years ago, I felt it important for us all not to despair. This is the reason for my post today!

After receiving Our Lord Jesus Christ at Mass this morning at St. Philomena in Brookville, Indiana it came to me very clearly "No more sacrileges of the Eucharist from the laity (meaning) Holy Communion in the hand possibly dropping (small particles) Our Lord on the floor to be walked on, and more importantly no Satanists to come and steal Our Lord by the reception of Holy Communion in the hand." I have to tell you this actually made me feel better about this might be the last time I receive Him for a while.

When Mass was over I said my Thanksgiving prayers and then my meditation for the day.  My Spiritual Director suggested a book called "Meditations For Each Day" by Antonio Cardinal Bacci. I cannot recommend this book enough. Each day it lifts me up to rise to be the best person I can be but also makes me look at how I can be better.

I would like to share my meditation for the day and maybe it might help you as much as it has helped me today:
"How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of Hosts! My soul yearns and pines for the courts of the Lord. My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow a nest in which she puts her young~Your altars, O Lord of hosts, my king, and my God! Happy they who dwell in Your house! Continually they praise you"(Psalm 83:1-5)
It is in these colourful words that the Psalmist expresses his longing for the house of God, where He can retire to pray and find comfort for His soul. The Saints also found happiness in long hours of prayer before their Creator. Any consolation which the world can give us s shadowy and elusive compared with the peace which God gives those who, in the greatness of their faith and love, shut out al thought of earthly things in order to kneel before His tabernacle and converse with Him. If we need consolation, let us look for it before the altar. Only there will our unlimited desire for true and lasting peace find satisfaction.
We can gain strength and comfort from prayer especially when we are tempted and in danger of yielding to sin. God may not answer us immediately, because He may wish to try our faith and love. But if we persist and tell Jesus that we would die rather than offend Him, He will take pity on us. He will stretch out his hand as He did in the storm-tossed boat with the Apostles and over us also there will come "a great calm"(Mt. 8:26; Mk. 4:39; Lk. 8:34). Any sacrifice on our part is amply repaid by the peace which follows victory over temptation. Let us not be afraid. Let us pray, and God will console us.
There are moments when we are overcome by a very deep sadness. It may be an illness, the result of which could be death or inability to work. Perhaps it is an insult or calumny which has crushingly humiliated us. Or perhaps it some sin into which we have fallen so seriously that we are close to despair. Somehow, our cross seems too heavenly to bear. It is now that we are in special need of prayer. We can find peace and resignation. God is infinitely good and loves us with a fatherly love. Let us turn confidently to Him. If we pray with humility and perseverance, we shall be comforted.

Today is March 17, 2020, St. Patrick's Day. I just found out recently he has never been formally canonized by the Catholic Church. In other words, there has been no formal process for canonization. When St. Patrick died this practice didn't exist. He was proclaimed a saint by popular acclaim, it is a possibility that a bishop approved and this is why he is known as a saint. The official process for canonization did not come until about the 12th century.

Please pray very hard in these dark times, trust me it will get much worse. The only way to prepare is to fast and pray GOD will show us the way.

There is a new Series out by the Kolbe Center for the Study of Creation, you need to see this.

The damage that has been done by theistic evolution being taught is unbelievable and almost is hard to comprehend without the grace of God. This evil that is being taught by those who choose to distort the truth is unprecedented in our day. This distorted belief in the beginning attacking the truth in the Most Holy Bible is not acceptable. This is the reason so many have no hope, it is also the reason we have so many on anti-depressant drugs, they think this world is all there is this is a lie straight from lucifer.

The truth needs to be heard and the Kolbe Center has done it in this most blessed DVD Series. Please take the time to watch the Trailer then sign up to watch the first 2 episodes of the Series "Foundations Restored," trust me it will NOT disappoint!

We know what lurks in the dark, it is satan, his minions and his lies. He hates God and the truth, you and the light, he wants the souls of children the sooner he gets them the harder it is to get them back.

WHAT are you going to do about IT? ARE you going to sit back and watch and do nothing?

WE ARE ALL CALLED TO BE SAINTS, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR START TODAY! As St. Joan of Arc said "Forward Boldly"

May God bless and Our Lady of America, St. Joseph, St. Michael and St. Raphael guide and protect us in the days ahead.
